"Owner Jim Byrnes is hoping to cash in after buying the Falcon five years ago from a West Australian who had owned it for 28 years. Mr Byrnes, 56 and a passionate collector, runs one of the largest classic car restoration businesses in the world, with hundreds of cars in his workshops or for sale."*

It's amazing how the car sells for only $5,250 in 1971 and it's now looking at probably $500,000 and will be worth way more 20 years from now. So if you have a classic in your garage right now, take good care of it.

There are only 150 of these beauties in existence, at least that's what the experts say, but a lot less is in tip top condition.

There are 2 reasons why I frequent used car dealers, best car finance deals and extremely valuable cars like the Ford Falcon. Some dealers sell them really cheap especially if they're not in tip top shape.

Sometimes, I just drive around the block looking for classic cars that the owner might want to sell. You never know what classic you will find and most of them are disguised in dirt, flat tires, rough pain and body, and blown engine but, give it some love, spend some money on it and you will be like Jim Byrnes out there who will be smiling to the bank later tonight.
